Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six answers power the quotes: your gender, birthdate, general health level, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term. That is all the engine needs. Your name, street address, and medical history only come in if you go ahead and apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates each carrier returns for the health class you picked. When you apply, the carrier underwrites and may affirm, improve, or downgrade your class—which changes the final premium. This site makes no insurance offer and does not promise any rate.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, then an application builds from the quote you selected and moves to the carriers' secure platform. You can pause and come back, and signing happens online. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), coordinates your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, the amount you want, and your responses. Carriers offering immediate decisions may skip the exam for eligible applicants; the quote tells you whether an exam is mandatory, optional, or unnecessary.
Is a longer term better?
A term covers the years when your family or business could suffer financially without you: the mortgage years, your kids' school years, loans in your name. Longer terms cost more each month but fix your rate longer. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years in one view.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool never asks for contact info, we do not sell or share data, and our analytics use no cookies. The privacy page details exactly what we gather and who gets what.
